Default Re buy tourney strategy

What is the best path for playing a rebuy tourney, where it is unlimited rebuys for the first hour?
My previous course of action was to slightly loosen up my play, not too loose, but that seemed to lead to too many rebuys myself.
Starting at 1500, with the ability to rebuy at 1500 or less should I just rebuy right away and sit tight through the first hour and try to make it to the second hour with 3-5k with an optional $20 add on for an additional 2,000 chips?

There have been many threads about this, so your post is unlikely to generate much discussion. I would just search for rebuy strategy threads, they should be easy to find.

There's no optimal path to follow. I think that if you play to do a rebuy or an add-on if needed, you better do it at the beginning so if you get good cards, you will double/triple up to much higher level. People are loose/agressive so just play good cards and be very agressive too. If you flop a set or somethng let them come... There's so much dead money in these tourneys because people are so loose. I usually try to play tight and double up in the first hour with a big pair then play tight after.

Play against the table Loose when tight, tight when loose.
