Default litigation in south carolina....

this really happened in south carolina recently...

a high school basketball team used inelgible players in 6 games, absolutely no one disagrees that these illicit players participated in these games, and the high school association did the obvious: forfeit of those games...another team awarded a playoff spot.

but whoa, the coach and high school principal felt it was "unfair"..(lol).. that the rest of the team should be punished for the coaches mistakes (remember , no one disputes the inelgibilty of these players); and filed suit...a judge issued an injunction against the forfeits, and re-instituted the team to playoffs....

now the game was almost started,,,the teams were in pre-game warm-ups when the forfeit team shows up with injunction, kicks the substitute team off the floor, and plays the game.....

the supreme ct of s.c. heard the case next day and overruled the injunction,,, and rebooted the team which used illegal players out of tourney...

do you see the message our legal system sends: the rules do not apply; just hire the right lawyer who can use the right legal tricks and you'll get what ya want...no need to be fair..lol...these lawyers are maggots on society and their cancerous effects on society are far-reaching...gl all
