i cannot figure out where you people play. passive is so far from accurate in the games i play. seems to me everyone is a LAG. i have never played in a more aggressive game.

well i did start my holdem life playing 5 max so maybe my perspective is different to most - when i compare the party 5/10 6 max to all the limits at paradise and party (all of which i have played a decent amount) it seems the right description

I see vpip 42.1, pfr 10.7 over 50k hands.
Including my own stats in the summary, I'm down to 38.2 and up to 11.1

My most recent 5/10 DB has vpip 39.15 & pfr 11.04 over 352,229 hands. Seems about right for an average. These games are getting tighter and more agressive but still not like the 10/20.

Most of the time I just pick first 4 tables with 5 players and grab a seat. If 4 of the 5 are relatively TAG (which happens) I will leave and look for something better. Normally though there are a cpl. very loose and most players are still generally passive.

I do find myself swithing tables more often lately. It is a rare table where I am the only TAG and it used to happen a lot.

thanks for all the great responses guys. the general theme is that these games are getting tighter and more aggressive.

would this game still be considered to be the best game on the internet, as, i believe, was the consensus several months ago? or is there a new fad?

passive, with the odd super maniacal chook would be my summary

hahaha... passive! The last few weeks this game has looked like the Wild F.cking West.

I am getting turn checkraised every single hand with stuff like 5 hi. If the three flush hits on the turn I'm getting checkraised no matter what two cards the clown has.

Yesterday's session featured a new chook maneuver, the river bluff raise. One guy did it to me with nothing 6 times.

One of the adaptations i'm having to make at 10/20 6-max is that I'm actually having to fold to turn raises again. Its been a while...

I swear if you never folded to a LAG turn check-raise at the 5/10, you wouldnt be going too far wrong.

are you kidding me? The 5/10 is sometimes so passive its annoying. People openlimping from the button like its their job, people never raising top pair, etc.
