My guess is Boris didn't give up on the Bruiser. The Bruiser gave up on himself.

No. I tried though. We had him paged at the WSOP, but no one answered to "the Bruiser" when it went out over the PA system.

hm.. alright. let me just say this, you have to meet him to really know what's up. i'm not trying to say anything necessarily bad or good here, i'm just saying.. there's two different levels of thinking about the bruiser situation, and when you meet him you get vaulted to the next level, where things become much clearer and.. well, i've said too much.
