Re: Pocket 10\'s, Party $50
He has to call $28.50 not $18.50, and a "large chunk of his stack" was not in the pot with the flop raise. Against any but super-aggressive or terrible players, I think you are behind here a good majority of the time.

Re: Pocket 10\'s, Party $50
UTG's tiny flop bet with 4 people acting behind him? That's an ugly way to play a draw here. Especially considering the turn check-raise, this looks more like a made hand to me. Then again, "made hand" includes A8 and 99 and maybe the pair+flush draw hands, along with the 88/77/33/87/JJ possibilities. There's also the off chance of something like AJ [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG could very well think hero's betting a draw here, and could be trying to make him pay for it or even semi-bluff him with another draw. Hero's getting 2.36:1, so he has to win 30% of the time. My gut feeling is that it's a call, but I'd really like some sort of read on the opponent.

I'd occasionally play a set like this (apart from the tiny flop bet), especially if I knew that it was going to be heads up on the turn.
