I disagree. Civil war in the region could easily spill over into neighboring countries. There is no telling what would happen. I would expect a sharp increase.

I also would expect an increase, at least temporarily. Almost every oil-related news causes a spike.

When will everyone realize that oil supply is not the problem? Don't you all realize that big banks are holding onto West Texas intermediate to hedge the losses they have accumulated from hedging jet fuel prices? This is what is driving up the prices...
