Default Pulp Fiction.

Incredibly overrated, when I was done watching the only thought I had was "That's it?" I started off good, and then the stories were crossed paths...then it was over. I felt like there was no point to this movie, other than seeing people get their heads blown off and watching a big black
guy get anally raped.

Damn, how did I forget to mention the briefcase? Like half of the movie is centered around that goofy glowing briefcase, and you don't even find out what is in it.

I see people in OOT who are in love with this movie. After seeing what people on OOT had to say about this movie I thought it would be pretty good. Maybe I just missed all the "Pulp Fiction sucks" posts and only saw the "OMFG Pulp Fiction is liek teh best" posts.

maybe you should read imdb and rottentomatoes and any 100 classic films of all times list. expand outside of OOT for your movie selection and pulp fiction will be on there.

See, that's what I'm talking about. It isn't just OOT. People on IMDB loved this movie also, but I can't figure out why it's considered to be so great.

unrelated to this ill tell a funny story. i used to work in video store when the movie got released. i was in college in austin at the time.

so the movie was prereleased here. at the time tarantinto was not famous and no one knew of pulp ficiction. i only went because of his ealier movies. it was a riot. tarentio was there and the crowd was so loud and into it. the PA system was horrid though. it was a bunch of college students there dressed like normal college students.

w/ the movie tix we were able to go to a bar afterwards so i went there at night in my usual college attire which ripped up shorts and tshirt but everyone from the movie went home and changed.

it was a small event and i got there and most of the people were dressed in tuxes or suites. the women were in dresses. i was a bit uncomfortable a didnt stay long.

EDIT: typos be damned

How'd you manage to make it to 2005 without seeing this movie?

Sadly, he's not the only one. I'm even a film buff (and a Tarantino fan) and somehow I've managed never to see it. Basically, I suck. And I'm lazy.
