Default Hand of the night

4-8 must-move table, loose bordering on loose-aggressive.

In middle position I'm dealt A [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] . UTG limps, I limp, 1 limper in late position, SB raises, BB calls, UTG calls, I call, LP calls.

Flop comes 10 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] . SB and BB check, UTG bets out, I call, LP calls, SB and BB call.

I contemplated check-raising here (having read Abdul Jalib and Izmet Fekali's writings on loose games) but I wimped out.

The turn is the A [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img]. SB bets out, BB calls, UTG folds, I raise, LP calls, SB calls, BB calls.

The river is the Q [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] . SB checks, BB checks, I bet, LP calls, SB calls, BB folds.

1) How was my play on each street?
2) What did SB and LP have?

Granted, I may be venting a bit, but making fun of me for posting yet another bad beat story is uncalled for. I'm more interested in hearing what people think of how I played each street.

You can't checkraise when someone bets into you. You should have raised the flop, though... you have a huge hand.

Raise the flop! You have a nice hand at this point, and you have 14 outs to improve to a very good hand.

If you raise the flop, maybe AQo folds with his no hand and no draw. Just a thought...

Do you understand that the last thing you want AsQs to do is to fold on that flop?

Default flop call

The flop call also gives you the chance to 3-bet, which would be very profitable. I like it.
