Maybe this story hasn't really gone national yet? It happened over the weekend. It seems to be all people are talking about around here (Connecticut/Rhode Island). It's been all over the news. People at work are talking about it. People at Foxwoods were talking about it.

For those who haven't heard and/or didn't take the time to read the story in the link, this dude shot a cop and then the police whooped his ass. And his family is all outraged complaining about police brutality. That's basically the gist of it.

yeah I must have missed the part about the cops beating him, I thought he jumped out the window?

BTW, cops dying rarely makes the national news, nor do people whom were killed by cops.

I don't find it hard to believe the guy jumped out a window of his own accord.
