Default Thurs Night NCAA Football

BC at VA Tech -13.5
I think this is a game to prove if Va-tech is for real. I like Va-Tech -13.5 but the only thing that concerns me is BC is a pretty good road team. Just seeing what any of you think?

I got VA Tech at -13, and also their first half at -7.

BC is a decent team, and as capable of an upset as anyone, but I see Tech rolling here tonight. I don't know the numbers, but they are strong in Thursday night games. Furthermore, they realize that if they are going to have a shot at leap frogging over USC or UT in the BCS, they are going to have win out, and win out convincingly. With tougher games ahead of them in the next couple weeks, they'll look to spark a late season push with a big win tonight.

Get this before it goes to -14. I think it will.

I don't have much of an idea on this one, but a BC +14 and under 45 Parlay looks ok to me. Any thoughts on that?

The public perception on the Hokies is strong. I see -13.5 and alarms start going off. Its almost as if the books want the "square" $$$ on V Tech.

From an analytical point of view, the Hokies are primarily a ground based team with a tough D. BC is balanced pass/run and they have the defensive speed to contain Marcus Vick. I see this game in the range of 27/28 - 20/17.

BCS BS aside if I had a gun put to my head and had to take a side here it would have to be Boston College. Since I have no gun to my head I'm sitting this one out and waiting for the weekend when there WILL be juicier sides to play.

I'd lean towards the Hokies. BC hasn't relaly impressed me. The only concern is if the Hokies are looking ahead to Miami.

I think that BC getting Kiwanuka back will be a big spark. I think that VT will win but not cover, I see Vick getting a late touchdown to win by 10.

I like VT outright, and the under. 13 is too much for my taste, however VT's defense might be the best in CFB and i think they can hold bc to somewhere in the 10-17 range.
