Default TS 1/2 NL hand

TS 1/2 game, villain had been seeing every flop, calling all in with inside straight draws and flush draws hitting, had about 600 behind him. I have 800 in front of me, having bossed the table for the past few hours.

I raise to 15 UTG with A9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villain calls on button.
Blinds fold

Flop comes 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet out 45, he minraises to 90. I figure my ace is definitely good, probably the nine, as are the spade outs, so I call.

Turn comes 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. This is my money card. He probably doesnt even notice the spades, and hopefully has the straight.

I check (great trap by me) and he bets 100, I move in for the rest of my stack.

He calls with A6o with the 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

river is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

could i have done anything differently to avoid this, or is this just the pitfalls of no limit holdem (be easy, im a no limit n00b)

Raising UTG with A9s is going to cost you alot of money.

I wont mention the rest of the hand since its not worth mentioning when you get all in and he hits a 2 outer.

even with stacks that deep. Im at worst 30/70 against any hand besides AA, which is very unlikely?

Odds like that mean nothing unless you are all in preflop.
