Default Re: For your viewing pleasure...

did you make an all-in raise preflop with AKs ??

And, you put all your chips in with a high card on the second hand?

i don't see any +EV on either of those hands.

The first hand you had -EV to any pocket pair, and 9 times out of 10 you're only going to get called by a better hand.

The second hand you're out of position against any number of hands better than yours, theres little reason to believe you're ahead at this point.

Please someone correct me if i'm wrong here.

I was just playing 1/2 NL on Party and a normally reasonable regular openpushed for $208 UTG. Nobody called, but it did bring back pleasant memories of the old days on Party (50xBB stacks) where the MOH was profitable at all levels (it only went up to 2/4 blinds back then).

Meh, I'm only concerned about 2 hands, AA and KK. Sure they'll call, but that gets offset by the times that AQ and AJ call you (and occasionally the A6s).

And for hand 2 let's just say that I was 100% sure that I was ahead.
