tain, ok sized, i beg to differ.

Tain-networks include Pointbet, Parabol, Bet Class, Pari-Match, Scandic Bookmakers and Trade Sports. NEITHER of these are today offering poker to their clients, the TAIN network doesnt exist of today, yes these small betting sites might have signed on for the poker software, but they still dont have any players playing...

Adde, what you have read on the tain-network site is not what they offer today, its more what they would like to offer in the future...

Tain already had an OK sized network (mostly euro sportsbooks) before the expekt move. I think prima will be the ones getting hurt here.

On a related note, guess who starts working for Tain in 12 days?

No reason to suspect you would be biased in your statements about Tain vs. Prima..

Tain-networks include Pointbet...

Pointbet is a relatively new bookie but quite large, right? They mostly cater to Asian bettors which could become interesting if this whole Tain-thing gets going.

Didn't look very impressive, no omaha, stud or anything but holdem.

Scandinavians don't seem to care about client, since most of them play on crappy ones like Prima, B2B etc. They do follow the big names instead (Expekt, Unibet, Ladbrokes).

I've had the same thought, despite being a scandinavian myself.

What is so crappy about the prima client?

I first started out on Prima software (Ladbrokes), and when I knew of nothing else, I didn't mind the software, despite having some quirks. Then they made a disastrous upgrade, and I went looking for alternatives, and found Party. Prima has gotten better since then, but I still think they cater more to casual players (like myself when I began playing). Playing one table at Prima might be ok, but when grinding it out for four tables, Party software, for naming one, is superior to Prima in oh so many ways.

Each his own, though.

Nope, no reason at all - by the way, I heard that Prima staff all have poor personal hygiene and dubious moral standards

The next few weeks will definately be interesting (for me personally at least).

B2B had huge serverproblems with lag and tournaments going down (and might still have for all I know). What the swedish players did was to moan about it. They didn't change to a bigger network with more stable software which would be the logical course of action. Perhaps they enjoy playing on sites with mostly scandinavians?
