Default After Theory of Poker?

Hey guys... im mainly a limit player, right now on the $1/2 on Pacific/Party. I have been doing a great deal of reading and have read GSIH once, SSHE twice, and TOP once. Where should I go from here? I obviously haven't mastered any of the concepts, but I feel I have a good grasp on them. Should i re-read and master the concepts before i move on? After this, where do I go? Thanks for your input! Cheers.

Reading is great and all, but there is no sub for experience. Take some time off of reading, and develop your own game. Then come back and reread a few books and hopefully there will be some answers to things that you have found a bit tedious for you.

Play and play some more - and keep rereading Small Stakes Hold 'em and Theory of Poker while you're doing so.

You're on the right track.

Add "Weighing the Odds in Hold'em Poker" by King Yao to your list.

OK, enought reading.

Play more, post hands, and take some shots at 2/4. You should have the tools to beat higher limits given what you've read. You might just need more experience.

Good luck!

At some point you HAVE to read "Inside the Poker Mind" by John Feeney.

I agree, play, then come back to random sections of SSH every now and then.

Read the last page of the Limit section of GSIH again. If you remember correctly it lists several books that you will find beneificial to your development as a poker player...

Theory of Poke will probably take several reads before understanding enough of it to move on to another book. I would probably have at least 3 reads of SSHE and TOP before moving on to HEPFAP or Psychology of Poker.
