Structure for HORSE game?
We've started playing mixed games at our home tourneys, but have run up against a problem as of late. When playing 7Stud and Stud/8 portions of our HORSE games, we've noticed that these games a very long time to get around it seems. Since we're only playing 30 minute levels, this seems to make these games very important early. Does anyone have similar problems? Or even better, solutions?
As a note, our blinds are 10/20, 15/30, 20/40, 25/50, 50/100, 75/150 etc. and we base our ante structures on this also. IE, at the the 20/40 time slot, antes are 5, bring in is 10, complete is 20, BB is 40. |

Re: Structure for HORSE game?
I ran a mixed game tournament once, what I did was instead of time I ran it where the level changed after x amount hands. 12 worked pretty well, if you want 30 minute rounds you could do like 25 or so. The Omaha and Stud rounds are much more time consuming than Holdem.
