moneymaker repeat?

college geek?

Shannon Elizabet, think of all the fishy females that would try their hand at online poker. It's the biggest untapped contingent, would majorly boost the profitability of many online sites at low-medium limits and would officially make poker "cool".

what makes you think this would encourage women to play? I think this would do little for women, as they mostly don't pay attention to females in the same way guys do. Can you see a girl saying "Shannon Elizabeth is so hot, and she's good at poker, if I was good at poker, I would be hot too"

More likely I can see "Wow, Ben Affleck won that big poker game, if I got good at poker, I might be able to hang out with Ben Affleck"

But I think most likely to inviting to women to play would be a normal, non-famous woman winning, because that would lead to "look, women can play and win this game too, even if they aren't a big star with loads of money"

Either a Raymer or a Moneymaker repeat. It would give the illusion that it's an easy game to beat and that would bring even more fish onto the tables trying to play final table move in poker into deep stack NL cash games. Or alternatively a very aggro pro like Gus Hansen or Toto, the more fish who try to do emulate late tournament style poker on NL cash games the better.
