Don\'t like this big blind hand
$100 game on PokerRoom, that means 2500 chips to begin with.
6 handed. 200 big blind. UTG+1 ($4000) limps, everyone folds to me in the BB ($4500) and I check with 9c7c. Flop: 9H 7H 3D I think and check, he bets $350, I c/r to $1100, he calls. Turn: 3d I check he bets $1400 I c/r all-in. |

Re: Don\'t like this big blind hand
Tough decision... after the flop, his hand was screaming overpair. With the worst card imaginable on the turn, I honestly think I'd lay it down (given he's no donkey).

Re: Don\'t like this big blind hand
well if he has an over pair (unlikely) your screwed.. if he hit a set, your screwed.. i suppose it depends mostly on any read you might have on him

Re: Don\'t like this big blind hand
It just seems that you are beat. Overpair and your two pair is no good. If he had a 3, he has the set now. Yikes. I think I am laying this one down.

Re: Don\'t like this big blind hand
Well I was worried by an overpair, but do 99-AA really limp here?

Re: Don\'t like this big blind hand
Probably would not limp with overpairs, yet you never know.
A3o would certainly limp though. In which case you are in very bad shape. |
