This is why I only play short handed.
This is not real poker... |

[ QUOTE ]
Hand 3: hero has QQ in CO. Different villain with 1K minraises UTG, hero raises to 150, villain raises to 400, hero folds. [/ QUOTE ] This is a very powerful 90% AA tell when you see it. It's pretty rare at the higher levels. I have no problem with any of your folds. |

Re: 3 Preflop Folds w/QQ or KK-please chime in
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] All these hands are 10/20 NL Hand 1: hero has KK on button. Villain has 2K I cover (24/4/2 over 440 hands) raises to 85, hero raises to 300, villain raises to 1000, hero folds. [/ QUOTE ] I think I threw up in my mouth. Someone playing 24/2.5 would be pfr w/ AA, KK, QQ, and AK only. KK is a large favorite against that range. Your villain is playing 40% more *worse* hands than that! QQ, I can agree, if you feel he's that tight then fold, fine. Naj [/ QUOTE ] So you've given me a not at all interesting analysis of his UTG pfr standards. Now please tell me if you still think that a 22/4 has AK in his RERAISE HALF HIS STACK standard. I don't even see him doing this with QQ. Anyway, he raises with 40% worse hands than me, but I definitely think the re-reraise helps us narrow hish and range significantly. [/ QUOTE ] Well then I'm not sure why you asked the question, if your read is such that he would reraise *only* with AA, then it is a trivial fold, obviously. Otherwise, folding seems like a waste. They're all easy folds. People don't bluff PF as much as wacky betting patterns may indicate.
