Default Starting Out - Getting Money Online

Depositing money into a site (specially PacificPoker) they say just use my credit card. I've heard credit card companies are trying to not pay to online poker sites. I've also heard about Neteller. What is the best and safest way to put on money, and then get it out.

I've searched for this quite a bit, and couldn't find it and throughly reviewed the FAQ to see if its been covered yet, but couldn't find anything. So if it is somewhere, tell me I'm retarded and point me to it please.

I think, though I am not sure since it has been a while since I deposited money, the cost of depositing to neteller is considerably higher than firepay. (Though maybe they have multiple options and I just saw the one.)

A lot of people seem to think neteller is more reputable. I have not had problems with either, though I now use neteller almost exclusively since that seems to be a more readily available withdraw option.

Also, if you know you want to deposit at a specific site, look for bonuses that are tied to specific deposit mechanisms. For instance, UB ran a firepay deposit bonus recently. I am not sure if it was stackable with the initial deposit bonus or not, so the point may be moot.

I ran into this problem earlier as well. FWIW, only Party and Paradise would take my credit card, which I thought was the easiest/safest way to get money onto a site. I used my first big cashout from Paradise to open a Neteller account and have been very happy with Neteller ever since.

My credit card companies also block Neteller. That's the reason for the convoluted path here.

I'm pretty sure you can EFT money into Neteller at no cost.

Correct, EFT is no cost but takes days. Just know that when starting out. It will be 3-5 days before the money posts to your neteller account.
