Default Carlos Mortenson

Just read the Cardplayer column on him. I'm sure this has been addressed but I couldn't find it. What is his name on pokerstars?

I'm just curious to see if I've played with him.

Thanks

Peace

Goodie

[ QUOTE ]
For three recent weeks in a row, Juan Carlos was on a reign of *terror at the online sites. He’s so good that sometimes he plays in four tournaments at a time at four different sites! If that’s not enough excitement, sometimes he adds a $5,000 heads-up match while he’s playing in the other tournaments. How successful is he?

A few weeks ago, he played in a PokerStars $200 buy-in event and won it, pocketing $91,000. The very next week, he played in a PokerStars $500 buy-in event and won that one, as well, for $142,000. The following week was a bad one for him. He came in only 17th, for $3,500. The guy is unstoppable.

You must be wondering, what’s the guy’s online name? Sorry, no can do. You’ll just have to watch and see who keeps winning.

Maybe one account is in his name and the other is in his wife's name?

Sorry to hijack, but I read that article last night and...

Those player profile articles are the biggest pieces of crap in print.

Obsequious. Unhelpful. I feel dumber for having read it.

That is all.

I liked this one:

"One day, they started playing Texas hold’em. I was waiting for my wife, Cecelia, and I said to myself, I want to try. I took out $100 and lost it all. That night, I couldn’t sleep. I was very upset. What mistakes did I make? I came back the next day and doubled my money. For the next four days in a row, I won consistently. I decided to leave my job and start playing poker."

Wow... four winning sessions in a row, let's go pro. Sweet.
