I dont get the straddling.. Do full time players straddle?
As far as I know they dont.

[/ QUOTE ]

Straddling gets negative points for the voting. It's just a double blind posted to induce action.

[/ QUOTE ]

There is absolutely nothing wrong with straddling in deep stack NL poker, especially if the table is playing tight.

I'll give you the point of deep stack NL., but I would prefer to just raise from UTG. I personaly do not like posting.

Really? I always thought it is just chip spewing. hmmmmm
Interesting.

I love to do it because it projects a loose image, when in most games I play a very TAG game.

It's good to advertise your looseness and maybe get caught once or twice bluffing to get paid big down the road.

I guess straddling is the same cost as limping, but I'd rather limp with hands tha tI see rather than random hands. I guess straddling gives a better loose image though. Makes sense.

Why is it so hard for these guys to fold 2nd pair in a multi action pot?
Does he really need that much time?

Max had a pretty tough decision there. He's basically coinflipping vs 2 pair and is obliterated vs a straight and maybe 2.5:1 dog vs a set. I also think set might make that raise.

Isn't that a bit aggressive to move in like that with two overs on the board. What am I missing here? I know he had position.

To save the question from being asked, it's not 2+2's own El Diablo.

In other L@TB news, what are the plans for next Thursday and Friday?

Edit: Since that was answered before you saw my Q, will there be any "best of" programming those two nights?
