Why did I receive this mail?
How they got my email? Any clue about what could've happened?

thats called email fraud. You go to the site and type in your information and some lowlife steals your money. ignore it or if you are truly worried, just called paypal and ask them if they sent you an email. i can bet they didnt.

yep this is a spoof email. I get them many times a week from "Paypal" and from "Ebay." The ones from "paypal" use the address "phonesellers@yahoo.com". It is totally fake. Ignore it, but I do sign up the addy to every gay porn site that I can find. In case that email address is real...then someone is going to see a lot of man-sex emails. LOL.

Someone did get into my ebay account and started selling expensive phones in England. Once I got the problem fixed, i started getting a lot of spoof emails from ebay and paypal...that weren't from ebay or paypal.

Just ignore it and the frequency that you get them will go down. After a year I now only get them once a week.

If you ever question the authenticity of one of these emails, click on the link and it usually asks for your name/password. The phishing links will take any incorrect password.
