Default Doyle Brunson\'s Super System 1 + 2

Hi all,

Does anyone know, what's the difference between Brunson's Super System (published 2002) and Super System 2 (2005)?

SuperSystem 1 was actually published in 1978 under the title "How I made Over $1,000,000 Playing Poker." The edition you see was merely dressed up with a newe cover in 2002. It has some good info but a lot of it has been surpassed by other writers, esp on limit holdem with the writing of Sklansky, Malmuth, and Miller.

I haven't read SS 2 but it has the original addition plus more pieces from collaboratots, including some of the new "big name" players. For more info you should post this in the books forum.

Good luck,
Matt

The no limit hold 'em sections are almost identical in the 2 books.

The other sections are not.

Yeah...and Doyle Brunson doesnt have ANY posts on this board. So the book must be worthless. I doubt he is a "poo bah" on ANY forum. Guess he was too busy scooping pots and writing stupid books.

I apologize for the sarcasm...but I just think its funny when people equate posts on a forum to knowledge.

I apologize for the sarcasm...but I just think its funny when people imply that SS2 is the greatest book written on poker.
