Google results for "clonie" [/ QUOTE ] I don't get it, you went to google, searched for Clonie, made a post containing a link to your search, but you still cannot post a pic You have much to learn. |

Re: Clonie G -- eye candy or great poker player - or both?
I have long wondered the same, and save for an 8th or so place finish in Costa Rica, I believe, which gave her the shot on "ladies night", I see little pokerwise to qualify her for such publicity. She is likely a half-decent 10-20 or 20-40 player who has improved now because of her proximity to top pros, but is STILL nowhere near a top female player, much less poker player.
P.S. I feel almost the exact same about Evelyn Ng. Actually, I give Evelyn LESS credit, as it seems looks was about the ONLY credential she possesed to get herself on "ladies night". Well, that and dating Adam Schoenfeld and "knowing" alot of top players. Ah, the rumor mill.... |

Re: Clonie G -- eye candy or great poker player - or both?
I thought they actually picked all the players because they had participated in at least one WPT event. There were more women that participated, but, like you said, she is "active" in the poker community.

On the other hand, I did find a pic of Evelyn Ng after seeing her on Poker Royale last night...she was smokin' [/ QUOTE ] Whatever she was smoking didn't help her commentary very much. She was talking too fast in a monotone, and her poker insights were not very enlightening. Some great pro tips, like fold if you don't have a good hand and you miss the flop. |

You would've called that all-in with a drawing hand and only 1 out? Get your clothes and get the f*** out of my bed. This orgy is over! Seriously, though. I agree...the commentary on that show was absolutely horrible. They could've done a lot better than Ng and Nealon. |
