Default Help with Bankroll

Ok, so I have read loads of articles about how big your bankroll should be to sit regularly at certain games. However, I want to run a mix of games to get the best out of my game and keep me sharp.

I was wondering what size bankroll people would recommend for this schedule per week:

50 $5+1 SnG's on Party
1 £20 Tournament at Gutshot (Live FO)
3-5hrs at the 25-50 at Gutshot (Live Cash)
10hrs a week at the 0.10/0.25 6max tables at Party

Plus another $100 a week in entries to other tournaments (online and offline).

I was thinking a starting roll of around £500 or around $1000

Is this way off? What do you guys/girls think?

I don't know the specific bankroll requirements for all of the different types of poker you mentioned, but I'm pretty sure the answer is to calculate the minimum bankroll for each game individually and go with the biggest one.

I hope 25-50 means .25-.50

$1000 is good if you are just learning these games, seems like you are overrolled. BTW- the $5+1's arent very profitable because of the 20% rake, try moving to the $10's ASAP

I mean the 25-50 entry - blinds are, in fact, 0.25-0.50.

Not learning - fill like I can make a decent profit.

If the I went into the $10 SnG's - $1000 still good?

You should have 20 buy-ins for the SnGs, so $200 for the $10SnG

I would go with 30 unless he knows he is an expert SnG player, and even then you can have 20 buy-in drops.

I have to advise you against playing the $5+1 SNGs, you are getting robbed in fees, play $10+1 instead.

$1000 is a good starting roll for $10's.

It may seem like you are really overrolled (you are) but SNG's (especially party versions) arent poker at all- they are a big push fest. It may take a couple entries to get yourself ready for the style of play necessary.
