Really out of practice. Advice please.
Table is unknown. Rest of hand will be posted shortly. Remember, this is a 6-max table.
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) http://216.119.70.224/converter/hhconverter.pl Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP raises, Hero ...? |

Re: Really out of practice. Advice please.
I'd still fold this against an unknown, even at 6-max.

Re: Really out of practice. Advice please.
I would fold this. No point in going crazy here...
As I see it, you're in jeopardy of being dominated, cannot win it by stealing, and since the table is unknown, you have no reason to suspect that the raiser is wild. IMO lots of the 6-max players are really loose, but often their raising standards are low to good. |

Re: Really out of practice. Advice please.
For some reason I went with the light re-raise and now we have this situation on the flop...
Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP raises, Hero 3-bets, 2 folds, BB calls, MP calls. Flop: (9.50 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, MP bets, Hero ...? |

Re: Really out of practice. Advice please.
I don't mind the 3-bet that much, but I would fold here.

Re: Really out of practice. Advice please.
I agree with those who say fold preflop, especially against an unknown. On this flop, the pot is huge, and you've got 2 outs worth of backdoors in addition to 3 for your overs. TT and 66 are conceivable, but so are AT, 2 diamonds, or wanton stupidity. Peel, and reevaluate on the turn.

Re: Really out of practice. Advice please.
I'd raise here and take the free turn card if you get it. If he 3-bets, call and probably fold the turn UI.

Re: Really out of practice. Advice please.
After 3-betting pf, I think raising here is fine. You then have the option of (hopefully) either checking the turn UI or betting a scare card (A or a [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]). This of course assumes that you haven't seen villain do the infamous stop'n'go postflop (which he might do since he did it on the flop).

Re: Really out of practice. Advice please.
This is a very clear 3-bet.
