OT: Drinking and/or smoking while playing

yeahhh, When I multi-table, doing some kind of challenge or somesuch, Im usually high. In the place of Adderol, it serves to aid in my concentration.

haha, and I do have ROI to prove it.

I think a few drinks is fine, but sometimes i come home from the bar and when i come to in the morning, i just pray i havent lost all my money. I did that on a cruise one time...was up a few hundred playing blackjack and woke up with no money. When i went back into the casino, all the dealers were asking me how my night went? Apparently i was the life of the party, must have bankrolled that party too!!

I think smoking weed is ok while you play...ever play pool stoned? you can get different insights and i think being high helps me focus...and, now you have another reason to wear sunglasses at the table.

I like that policy! My name dictates I keep up with the most stoned person on the table...if you see me on the 33s, please dont sit, i want to stay conscious! [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

I have recently decided to approach poker as a part time job. So, I have made it a point to not smoke or drink while i play. Since i have adopted this policy, i have played 70 sngs at $33. i have an ITM of 49% and ROI of 48%...obviously not sustainable, but i will not drink or smoke until i come back down to earth...this is the only high i need!

Ya, i realize i am on a major heater...i am dreading the downswing! Honestly, i dont think drinking when i play is good for me, so i never drink when i play anymore. smoking i think is ok...but as long as i am going to approach this in a serious light, smoking is out for me.

I had like 8 beers last Friday night from 8-2am and won 2 of 5 11s SNGs, came in 3rd once and came in 34th in a MTT so sometimes the beers help to keep me going!!!

In my weekly home game I and everyone else tend to get really smashed so it's more interesting (and -EV).

I always drink and play. Normally one beer per set of 8, unless I am pregaming... then it is more like 3. If I am more than 8 beers deep then I will play 25NL and raise every hand.
