Default Poker Stars $ 150 last night. (what can you do?)

The blinds at 100-200 im sitting one from the button with $3500 in chips. I make my standard raise of $500 with Ks 7h just trying to pick up the blinds. Now a little history the guy sitting on the button has called at least 70% of my raises from around back and I would say that Im a little winner on that head up confrontation but he is a thorn in my side for sure. So back to the hand the button has 5500 chips and to say the least calls my raise as does the SB who has $2500 in chips. Now theres $1700 in the pot, but basically this is not what I wanted, I just wanted to pick up my 300 and move on. But now it's a pot worth fighting for or at the very least trying to win. The flop As 4s 6s, now that is a pretty good flop for me and am willing to try and pick the pot up on the flop, SB checks, I bet $800 into the $1600 that was in the pot, was that bet a little weak? Now the button moves in.

What would you do,

Do you try and pick up blinds with K7?
Should I have bet more on the flop?
Should I call the all in? 2K to win 7K?

I know this is a marginal hand and situation, I would like to hear what you guys think?

Thanks

if you know the guy is most likely going to call your raise, why in the world would you try and steal here. Also you pretty much commited yourself to the pot getting over 3:1 with the nut flush draw. Knowing that your going to have to gamble and call if your flop bet gets raised I would check the flop. You would like a free card here and if the button bets you can cr all-in. That way you get the same result (all the money goes in) but with some FE. Its not hard to avoid these situations if you just think ahead a little bit.

This seems like an ideal c/r the flop situation.

I fold it preflop for one, but since you're in the hand,

I check raise as well in your position.

I understand what you are saying, but it's just the way I play. I don't mind playing pot after pot head up with anyone. If your not catching cards its the way I survive. In hope that I will catch some cards and make somebody make a mistake. Well I called, he was bluffing to but with the Qs with a king kicker. I needed a spade. thanks for the input.
