Default Flush draw in BB

.25/.50 Pacific Poker (10 handed)

Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Everyone except MP2 and SB call. Wow this is loose!

8SB - Flop is 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (8 handed)

Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP3 folds, Cutoff calls Button raises, Hero 3 bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, cutoff folds, Button caps, everyone else calls.

Do you like betting out? I wonder now whether I should've check raised hoping for someone in LP to bet so I could possibly knock out someone with a lone high club, although my 3 betting it might've done that anyway.

13BB - Turn is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 handed)

Hero bets UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, Button raises, Hero 3 bets, UTG+1 folds, Button caps, Hero calls.

22BB - River is 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 handed)

Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

Final pot is 24BB.

Did I play it right?

No, you played this too weakly. It's far more likely that villain has a one-card straight than a higher flush. I bet the river and 3bet it, prepared to call a cap.

I probably would've 3 bet the river if the board hadn't paired. Then again it doesn't seem likely he'd 4 bet 2 pair on that scary turn.

He played his hand like a straight, maybe eight-five?

He showed A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for the nut straight. I think I'll still cap the river in the future.

I would at least bet out the river.

Nice hand.

Flush over flush doesn't happen that often, so don't worry too much about it in a limit game.

to think the villain is just playing a straight this hard with 3 clubs out there is hard to believe. after he caps the turn, i think a bet and call a raise is fine though. 3-betting the river is pushin it - especially since it's heads up and your room for error is less.

Without a read, capping the river is definitely spewing.
