Default Poker at the London Olympics 2012

I seriously think someone should arrange a partition to get NL Hold'em to be at the program for the Olympics 2012 in London.

This would be completely idiotic.

There was a significant movement in the chess world to get into the olympics for a little while.
In efforts to do this there were some events that required drug-testing since that is an olympic requirement for consideration.

It was a big deal in the chess-world as most major chess players thought that drug-testing was ridiculous and also thought that trying to get their 'sport' into the olympics was pretty pointless as well.

I think that chess is more viable as an olympic 'sport' than poker.
But I think either would be just plain stupid.

Remember when Full Tilt Poker had volunteers out on the streets of NYC with Poker in Athens petitions. It has been thought of before.

Poker is not a sport. Olympics is for sports.

Olympics games have to be athletics, thats why you will never see poker or chess in the Olympics.
