Default How bad?

Generally, the table is loose and full of bad players. In particular, MP3 is super-loose (previously limped early with 53s). I don't know too much other than that.

We all go through this phase, right? Just fold the flop?

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls, 2 folds, MP3 calls, Hero raises, Button calls, 2 folds, UTG calls, UTG+2 calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (11.40 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
UTG bets, UTG+2 raises, MP3 calls, Hero 3-bets, Button folds, UTG calls, UTG+2 caps, MP3 calls, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (13.70 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
UTG checks, UTG+2 bets, MP3 folds, Hero calls, UTG calls.

River: (16.70 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, UTG+2 bets, Hero calls, UTG calls.

best case scenario: you are a 35% chance to win.
worse case scenario: you are an 8% chance to win.

not pretty. i think i would have 3bet but i know where you are coming from. if i think that the players are aggressive enough to bet/raise draws then im not sure you can fold.

is there any reason why you are playing full games instead of the 6max? ive heard that the full games are much tighter than 6max although i havent sat at a full table yet. however, i can vouche that 6max is very, very loose.

readless I don't like folding the flop. preflop is pretty ugly though raising that after 3 limpers

you really think raising hands like this against 3 lp limpers is a bad play? i wouldnt do this every time, but i think its good to raise this at least half the time. i really cant see much of a fluctuation in ev in either play.

I usually agree, but against guys who are limping with 53, I think I need to get involved here.

So you found out what you needed to with your flop 3 bet. Why are you calling down?

I didn't find out [censored]. The play so far is consistent with being against draws and none of them got there.

I don't mind a limp, but a raise is pretty absurd here PF. I'd muck this flop too. You just put yourself in a bad spot by raising PF.

Honestly I think this is just getting a bit fancy. I don't think there's anything wrong with limping preflop and folding the flop. Once the flop is capped I don't even know if I'd call down from the turn on.
