Default top pair oop

I have a feeling the correct answer is either "fold PF" or "limp PF". I don't mind hearing that either, it would probably do me good.

Given that I didn't though, I feel like there's probably a way better line than the one I took...

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed) converter

BB ($49.40)
UTG ($152)
UTG+1 ($49.50)
Hero ($60.85)
MP2 ($39.65)
CO ($78.65)
Button ($19.85)
SB ($40.25)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.5</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Button calls $1.50, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Flop: ($3.75) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $3</font>, Button calls $3.

Turn: ($9.75) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $6</font>, Hero calls $6.

River: ($21.75) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $9.35 (All-In)</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $31.10

I'd either raise more in EP to knock people with marginal hands out, or fold. Not sure about limping.

Flop is good. On the turn, you have to decide if you're going to showdown the hand or not - if you are willing to call that $6, you have to also call the $9 on the river because of the odds you're given and because of how weakly villain played the hand.

i agree with this. you raised, and (more or less) made your hand. the turn is where you must decide if you want to showdown. because he's fairly short, if you decide to call the turn, tap him on the river. if you don't want to play for all his chips, fold the turn.

another line to consider would be to lead all streets. if he has a hand, he'll probably let you know on the turn. if this is the case, you can still get away.
