Default River play?

Opp is 18.8/9.7/1.2

Pretty straightforward until the river. Flop raise for value, getting odds to call for my straight on the turn, and hit it on the river. I lose to exactly KQ. Can anyone put UTG on KQ with enough certainty to make 3-betting this river wrong?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 6 folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets, Button calls, SB calls, Hero raises, UTG calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (6 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets, Button calls, SB calls, Hero calls.

River: (10 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG raises, Button folds, SB folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG caps, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 18 BB

Check/raising the river might be better but either way you're going all four bets I would think.

I would put someone with a 10% pfr on KQ here about 0.1% of the time. Cap that sunbitch.

Leading out on the flop, and definitely the turn, just doesn't smell like villan is betting an OESD with KQ. I might be able to see it if he has KdQd, but I think the chances you'll see two pair here make it worth a raise.

why don't you think KQ would lead out the turn here? You think they'd try and check/raise?

Ignore everything I said. I have no idea what hand I was looking at. I think I'm seeing things...I could have sworn the turn and river cards were the other way around...never mind the flop.

I need to sleep...

When he bet the turn, KQ would be a made straight not an OESD any more. And I can easily see a Villan betting out the top side of an OESD on the flop when it's checked to him in the middle of the pack...I would.
