check you dont want to pay two bets to see if any of your possible 14 outs come through on the river.

its nice too cause when you do hit the straight you have just "shown weakness" so he bets into you and you get to raise and get 2BB in. win the most when ahead lose the least when behind.

I`d take the free card here as villains call makes me suspicious of a made str8 (against we have outs). Drawing hands we are ahead of are possible but not very likely (A8,AQ)

check and check/fold river. You arent ahead of any hands villain would play preflop.

I agree with Climber. Maybe one day this villian will learn a move other than the turn check-raise.

Check, with that many outs calling a raise will suck. Take the free card, then raise the river when he bluffs and you hit i reckon
