Default Do you Believe Poker will Get Major sponsers?

Having watched all the Poker on TV, I've noticed that there
are no Major Advertising Co. paying for advertising time.

Its all poker sites.
I've heard of a few Poker players getting known personal agents so I guess it's not far down the road.

Opinions?

I dont think the situation will get any better then it is at the moment. The poker fad will die down and the idea of sponsors will become ridiculous.

No sponsorship money goes to the players. All prize money for most tournaments comes from the players buy-in's.

Any time Scotty Nguyen makes a final table, I think Corona must be his sponsor

don't want to be a beer-endorsement nazi, but I believe it's Men Nguyen who drinks Corona; as far as I know, Scotty has stayed loyal to Michelob all these years.

And believe it or not, Chip Reese's beverage of choice is whiskey filtered straight through a rattlesnake's digestive tract, but he doesn't dig endorsements so you'll never see it on TV.
