If nothing else, it's interesting to see how the other players/observers chat it up with them (e.g. Hey Howard, are you playing in the WSOP this year? or ... Hey Matusow you're a fat f'ed up cokehead.).

[/ QUOTE ]

speaking of which, is matusow actually a member of the "full tilt team"? or is he like the guy in high school who kinda hovers around the clique and tries to act like he fits in (i.e. wearing the gear)

i dont play on full tilt so i dunno if he plays on there or not

[/ QUOTE ]

Matusow is on the Full Tilt team, he was at a 25/50 NL table last night

This doesn't relate directly to your post, but I'm curious. Full tilt has the most pros and the least players. Is there a connection?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think the idea of playing with pros is ridiculous. Who the hell wants to play in a MTT at any buy in and know there is a good chance they might get stuck at a table with Howard Lederer and Allen Cunningham (<--- Im pretty sure he kills in the MTTs on FT). STOOOOPID.

[/ QUOTE ]

Because of the insane amounts of dead money that play just for a chance to play with the pros. The softest games on there are when a pro sits down at a non-hold em table and all the fanboys come over to play in a game which they have no understanding of just to play with the pro.

They put him on the main website after the WSOP , so I'd say he's a member.

aha! me and a friend were talking about it during the final table webcast. i went to FTP.com and didnt see him listed. then i noticed during WSOP 2004 reruns he was wearing a FTP shirt then too. heh. i dunno seems pretty comical to me that he's been promoting their site and they just now put his name out there publicly

i wonder what they paid by FTP to play there though. i'm guessing it's a salary with an hours played requirement. anyone know?

Clonie told me taht Full Tilt pays for buyins 10k and up, though I dont know what type of deal it is, and I dont know if that is with all 40-50 pros or just the main 9-10. She said Full Tilt has a ton of money behind it.
