Being check-raised heads-up on the river.

That being said, it is my favorite move.

I would rather have a big pair in early position, so that I can raise out and protect my hand. I might write and article on this, "Reverse position in low limit games". Thoughts?

I loved your post. Just what I was whining about. Some bozo playing a 37o (because he might catch a straight). Cold calling 2 bets in middle position. Catching a 3 on the flop. Riding it all the way to the end and catching the magic 3 on the river. To top it off, in his eyes, he is the poker gift of mankind.

I would love to know how to deal with it. Write away.

i mostly deal with it by looking at my bank account. Oh,and listening to my friends bitch about how much they hate their jobs. Occasionally, i will get frustrated. I keep a handy supply of cheap calculators near the computer that serve as the object of my anger. however, in over a year of poker playing, ive only broken one calculator. Emotions are bad.

peace

MIne has got to be when I raise preflop have 1 cold caller behind me and I and miss the flop.

If you check your opponent is sure to bet out, and if you bet your opponent may just call you down with a pocket pair bottom pair even top pair.

If there are 3-4 players in the hand and someone is betting you can be 99% sure they have a piece of the board, heads up out of position its a whole different ball game

I hate being in this spot.

Uh-oh, somebody isn't check-raising enough...Shania weeps.

I get pissed off very easily and can think of several situations but one is having AA in the BB and loose NL table folds all around. This I can't prevent in any way but this I can. When you have KQs on a small card double suited flop of your holding and semibluff. All fold except one guy. Turn doesn't help and you bet big and pray he folds but calls again. Now he is either chasing the the flush or has some sort of pair and you quickly evaluate the situation and decide to save that third barrel. He checks along and takes it down with A high busted flush draw.

On the one hand, that pisses me off because I know I could've won the pot with one more bet. On the other hand, I'm too busy being thankful that my flush didn't come to really get that upset about it.

Dropping 30BB to the table donk, when he keeps rivering my 2-pair with a 4-outer, etc. And then he proceeds to give "my" money away to everyone else on the table. And then he quits, and I never see him again. Bastard.
