AQo gets 3 bet - Line?

This was literally villians first hand at the table. The two other guys love coldcalling, so I'm not real worried about them.

I was kind of unsure here, since my hand seemed good enough to showdown vs an unkown who could be getting crazy with something like AK or JJ or KQs, but he could also have AA, KK, 1010 or QQ (less likely). I could probably find a fold on a K turn or river...

Was this standard?

I'd do the same as you. The flop 3-bet is a bit worrying but i think you still have to go to showdown here

this is fine.

you won't win very often, but like you said there's some chance he has AT, KQ, AQ, or JJ here, and the pot is big enough to call.
