Right. We all remember the fiasco a couple of months back with PokerNow and rakeback, right? I think Party got their way on that one.

If Party don't want it, then Party isn't going to let it happen.

This is why I question the PE developers ethics:

Quoted from the PE forums:

"Guys,
We are in the midst of carrying on discussions with Pary about co-existing with PE. In the meantime we will be releasing a temporary solution soon to avoid detection while we continue our discussions with Party. Please stay tuned.

PE"

To me that is not the correct course of action for someone who is truly trying to work with Party.

LOL, I would suggest he get a job as a cashier at McDonalds where there is no need to negotiate.

With that post he has certainly ruined any chance of working things out with Party.

Perhaps Party should pay PE $9.99 a month for every player and allow any player who wants to use it/hide their stats for free....
Would make about as much sense as previous management decisions in the past. I am particularly ticked that Party/Empire "worked" with PE to develop their product. I feel sold out. Talk about alienating your customer base...and your affiliates....and your marketing department. Man, the whore really does run things poorly. Good thing she got that IPO out, now she can run her site into the ground with abandon and still be a billionaire.
Just more insane ramblings from someone who should call it a day.

If they had an agreement it's time to break out the written terms, and any SOW's, T's & c's, ect ect and hash out a solution.

Anyone want to bet these things are in place? Or do you think it was someone talking to an affiliate guy who was happy to see some "free" advertising with a program hook?

I sent Party an e-mail awhile back, when these discussions about PE (and other programs like PV and GT+) started up, and today I got back a response:

Dear OrianasDad,

Thank you for contacting PartyPoker.com Customer Care.

With reference to your e-mail please note that we do not allow the use of PokerEdge in conjunction with our poker software as per our Terms and Conditions available on our website.

For the other programs in question, please note that our teams of game experts, in consultation with the Technical team are constantly evaluating software, in order to determine the suitability of such third party programs and their compatibility with our Poker Client software and Terms and Conditions.

My e-mail:

Subject: Playerview, PokerAce, PokerEdge, Gametime+, PokerTracker questions.

What is PartyPoker's official stance on the usage of these programs?
