Heart attack? How tragically ironic.

CC1 - Ahhhh that sucks. He's a great actor. Loved him in L.A. Law also.

Saddened by this news,

Terribly shocked and saddened. Though the better days of West Wing are decidedly in the past, I still enjoy the show and have always loved Spencer's portrayal of Leo (perhaps the most fleshed-out character in a group of great characters). The end of last season was a tear-jerker when he was tabbed to be VP.

Spencer was a wonderful actor. I know nothing about him personally, but his talents will certainly be missed.

That's really sad. I was really starting to get into the show again. I don't think I've ever missed an episode but there was certainly a writing shortfall for awhile.

Anybody know how many shows they've already filmed/ Speculations on a new running mate?
