Default DVD program

My computer HD crashed and I need a new, free, program that will allow me to play DVDs now that I got a new hard drive. I tried to reinstall the one that originally came with the computer but it kept crashing.

Any ideas?

VLC

This is free, plays everything, and does a ton of nifty stuff.

Great suggestion. Not the prettiest interface, but, this thing does play almost everything.
