How is a river block/value bet of 1/2 pot? He is probably checking behind with his most likely holding, a set, but might feel inclined to pay off 1/2 pot. As played, I'd call that river since you showed river weakness and he might valuebet a set. I.e. if you plan to call 1/2 pot on river, I'd rather bet 1/2 pot myself since I think he'll call with more hands than he will bet.

And I agree you should fold the flop.
