Oh and the reason why I didn't make my quota was because he neglected to mention on the phone until Nov 8th that only hand from 1/2 limit and 200NL count, now you tell how 1/2 limit and 200NL are even CLOSE to similar stakes.

They look at the blinds being put up. I had this discussion on the phone with VIP and that's what it came down to. I screwed myself playing small PL/NL for Oct so I got the worst offer in the forum ($150/30k raked hands).

I agree with other posts I've read that they are not evaluating the PL/NL games fairly because they are basing them solely on blinds put up.

if they actually knew something about poker then this wouldn't be an issue.

clearly there are some people making the decisions there that don't know much about the game.

they know marketing though....so they have all those fishies running around (and 2+2'ers and other good players chasing after them).

So even if you play 100NL you are screwed for meeting your quota?

All's well that ends well.

Appears my party-rep was in the office bright and early on Saturday morning (or saturday afternoon across the atlantic I suppose...whatever).

Wonder if Mike O'Malley saw this thread and mentioned it to someone.
Who knows?? given the title of the subject you would think this would be a thread that Mike would take a peek at if he was surfing around here.

Anyway, got this e-mail from my rep this morn:

Hi Bob,
I am so sorry - thousand of Apologies, I have made a mistake (wrong
account).
Thank you for telling me - Will add the 125$ missing.

Kind Regards,
xxxxxxx

I got so pissed off after they misled me about getting better offers in Nov that I asked them to close my PartyPoker account(been open since 2001). I got an email back saying they closed the account but I found out later that was also a lie.
