Default Heads up blind structure?

I'm having a 16 person single elimination March Madness heads up tourney on Final Four Saturday. I've got everything figured out except for the blind structure. Do any of you have experience with this type of format and how much the blinds should start at and how fast they should go up? I'm looking for individual matches to last between 30 minutes to an hour. I figured I'd start with my standard 1,000 in starting chips but as far as blind levels and how fast they should go up I'm clueless.

I tried to search but only found a thread by a guy that's running something WAY more complicated than this. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

And yes, we are seeding into four regions and there will be a bracket pool on our March Madness tourney. Gambling rules.

Default Re: Heads up blind structure?

I dont know but i wonder if the nbc heads up tourney would have any info yet about their structure. im sure they started w/ more chips though.
this might work
10/20
20/40
30/60
50/100
75/150
100/200
200/400
i guess u could increase the blinds every 10 mins or 7 MINS mins. u probALy would want it to be every 7 mins, cuz it seems u want it to be quick
and you could use antes at the end
