Hmmmm the blind thing will affect the result... yes I suppose you'd have to click NOT A BLIND to get the numbers I want. I didn't know that PT did this.

Oh Well maybe I'll do another one after this slightly changed to take this into account.

Then again, it might not affect it that much since if you are going to limp UTG with 22 anyway, then it's nearly the same as calling a raise with it and your position postflop is the same. I'm going to claim that it doesn't affect the results that much unless someone argues well otherwise.

Point taken though.

When I changed the numbers to not show playing from the blinds my number of hands dropped to 38 and my BB/hand went up to 0.22. The weird part is that my win % dropped to 13 but the BB/hand went up...I'm guessing this is from calling a lot of raised pots when I'm holding those PP in the blinds and it costing more money to see the flop.

Clearly you should stop playing them from the blinds.

i'm even for those 3 hands (5 of the button) across 50K hands at all limits .50/1.00 to 3/6.

i had 5 very large losses when i flopped a set which seem to offset the rest. i lost $32 in one hand to flopped set over set over set.. i had the lowest one.

138 times
14% win %

at .50/1.00, i was .13 BB/hand with them after 30 occurrences (13% win %) after 14K total hands.

meh. good poll.

44 seems to be a set over set magnet for me, and i'm
-0.44/100 with it...so discounting 44 i am +0.12 bb/100 for 22,33, and 55 over ~40k hands (230 total occurences of the pairs) at .5/1 and 1/2.

heh, sorry dudes. Believe me, it gets better. LOTS better. Just ask shill, I think he knows.

If its any consolation, I dropped 75 BB in less that 500 hands when I first moved from 1/2 to 2/4. Had to go back to 1/2 for a while. But then when I came back, cake!

Except for now while the bonus is running, that is.

Between .5/1, 1/2 and 2/4 my favorite is 2/4, and it's not close.

Hijacking this thread . . . but I'm curious. I started playing 2/4 about the same time as you and I hit a pretty big downswing after moving. After lots of hand history review, statistical analysis, etc. I attributed my downswing to: (1) being really cold-decked; (2) adjusting my game to the new limit and its player tendencies; (3) some stupid play on my part about which I should know better; and (4) some mistaken play on my part about which I probably shouldn't necessarily have known better because I am a novice player at the game and learning something new every day. All those reasons in no particular weighted order.

What I found interesting (and why I'm hijacking this thread) is that I found the 2/4 game softening during the bonus period -- I speculated that a bunch of TAGs went down to 0.5/1 or 1/2 to clear bonuses (though I'm not sure why people do this if they'll play 1400 raked hands in a 7-day period regardless) -- I felt like the 2/4 was juicier during the bonus and I remember feeling the 1/2 got thinner during bonus time from my time there.
