Elmore Leonard's Serialized Novel in the NYT

The NYT Sunday Magazine has been carrying a 14-part serialized novel by Elmore Leonard that is kicking ass. I was about to cancel the paper because I don't have time to read the whole thing, but I'm keeping it just for this. Is everything else he's written this good?

most of the things ive read of his have been very similar to each other, his style is great at first, but gets old

Elmore Leonard rocks. I think I've read every book he's written. His style is so deceptively casual that you'd think it'd be easy to emulate. It's not - believe me, I've tried!
