I agree, however I would give the White Sox pitching and defense an A LOT as well.

Yes, as long as you are talking about the combination. In fact, the reason why I evaluate the teams as equal is because I think the pitching and defense advantage is almost exactly equal to the offensive disadvantage.

Thanks! This one was sorta personal as the most diehard White Sox fan imaginable. But I honestly was never biased and wouldn't have bet them so heavily if I didn't really see the edges I thought I saw.

I see the best 4 baseball teams in the playoffs as the Angels, White Sox, Cardinals and Braves. They might not have the best lineups or the most superstars or the biggest names but they are the best teams in my mind.

I'm so elated right now (as a fan) you can't believe it. I hope I don't pass out before the second game ends [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Nice job mrbaseball.. I was on the CWS sox in this one as well to win the series.. great +EV

Im on the LAA as well, if the NYY win that series, im definetly going to roll with the CWS again in the ALCS [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

So did anybody pick up the odds for the whitesox to sweep. That must have paid off pretty nicely for the few that made the bet.
