Yeah i was thinking if the flush or str8 was flopped he probably would have played it a bit slower.

Unless he had 89 or something and was scared of a higher flush. Although given the pot odds, seems like you'd still have to call there with say only Ac. But a lot of people don't think like that. And a lot of people would still fold for their tourney life, with a flush draw and 1-2 overs, even though the pot-odds say call.
