party 2k NL. a turn i\'m not sure i like.
party 2k NL 9 handed
utg+1 limps, hijack $2200, a 34/15/1.7, but some of that is SH'd, minraises. i ($2250) call with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB calls, and EP calls. pot about 180. flop:A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] sb checks, ep checks, villian bets 200. i make it $560, others fold, he calls quickly. turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] he checks and has 1650 or so left. thanks, fsuplayer |

Re: party 2k NL. a turn i\'m not sure i like.
fsu, isn't this the prime example of when you have outs, and would hate a c/r, go to river...
it's tough to imagine him having Kx[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] unless KJ or KT. in which case he had big draw on flop, but i guess not everyone routinely 3 bets that. if he has low flush, set, etc (anything that will play ab ig pot) you have 4 FB outs and remaining hearts. (varies) check and evalute river. |

Assuming you check turn, how much are you willing to call on the river?

Re: party 2k NL. a turn i\'m not sure i like.
If you're only going to call 600max on the river then taking a river is def the way to go here. Any risk of being outdrawn by the free card is minimal and you could well be behind anyway. Even if he backdoors a straight or something he's still going to have to be cautious as he can't be sure you're not slowplaying.
I reckon you already knew what I just said. If you could explain what you were thinking here that'd be good, thanks. |

Do good players often check raise turned flushes, seems to me it would let the opponent off a lil too easy. I think i check behind this and call river.

Hero is ahead on the flop unless villain ia a retard or playing it risky-tricky. |
