As racism goes, this was pretty mild. The guy just sounds like an ignorant tool, more than anything. The fact that he took the time out to come chat with you about K&G performing at your casino is bizarre.
When I worked in retail, I had two muslim guys who did deliveries for the store. The phone calls I'd get from customers about the delivery guys would make me sick to my stomach. Most of them were along the lines of "Why don't you hire whites" and "If I knew you'd be sending over n*gg*rs, I'd have shopped elsewhere". And this was *before* 9/11...I can just imagine what these people think of muslims now.

I missposted in my original. Marginalized was obviously the wrong choice for words. I think I'm just a little on edge this afternoon because of the whole Gaza thing. But that's for a different forum entirely...... [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

That depends on how your mom feels about kissing in public in general. Some people think it's inappropraite no matter the circumstances...though you don't seem to be giving your credit to your mother for thinking this way, so I'll have to assume she doesn't have this excuse.
